KATSEYE has released their third EP, WILD, via HYBE x Geffen Records. The five-song project includes the Billboard Hot 100 singles “PINKY UP” and “Animal,” alongside “Hootie Frutti,” “Bel Air” and “That Way.” It follows the group’s 2025 EP BEAUTIFUL CHAOS, which debuted in the top five of the Billboard 200. KATSEYE introduced “PINKY UP” live at Coachella before releasing “Animal” as the follow-up single.
“Animal” was co-written by Ed Sheeran, who said he first heard KATSEYE’s “Gnarly” in Mexico last year, became a fan and contacted the group about writing a song. The track’s official video features a cameo from Demi Moore. “Hootie Frutti” pairs Brazilian phonk-inspired percussion with maximalist pop production, while its Alfred Marroquin-directed video follows KATSEYE arriving at an underground Brazilian party and reviving the night. “Bel Air” centers on the feeling of outgrowing something once loved, while closing track “That Way” addresses power dynamics and desire. Target CD and vinyl editions featuring individual members also include “Unloveu,” written and produced by Lara Raj with Amy Allen and Ross Golan.
The EP release also comes amid several television and film appearances. On August 14, the group is scheduled to perform as part of the Citi Concert Series on NBC’s “TODAY.” Earlier in the week, KATSEYE returned to “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” for an interview and their first musical performance on a late-night program, playing “Animal.” KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS, directed by Nadia Hallgren, began a limited engagement after an August 4 premiere at The Grove in Los Angeles. The film is screening in 1,700 cinemas across more than 60 countries and includes unreleased footage, EYEKONS fan videos and interviews with the group members.
KATSEYE will open THE WILDWORLD TOUR on September 1 at 3Arena in Dublin after the global arena run sold out in under 48 hours. The itinerary includes two-night stands at The O2 in London, UBS Arena in Belmont Park, Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City. The group also recently headlined Hinterland in Saint Charles, Iowa, and Head In The Clouds in Pasadena, California, marking KATSEYE’s first festival-headlining appearances. In 2026, KATSEYE led Billboard’s “21 Under 21” list, appeared in Variety’s “Power of Young Hollywood Impact Report,” became Vanity Fair’s July “VANITIES” subject and appeared on Allure’s June covers in the United States, Korea and the Philippines.
