Kinsley will release her debut six-song EP Learn To Live on September 25 via MCA. The 22-year-old singer-songwriter has also shared an official music video for the title track, “Learn To Live,” offering the first preview of the project. Kinsley wrote or co-wrote all six songs, drawing on personal experiences and stories from people around her to address heartbreak, healing, self-discovery and the process of moving forward.

Kinsley said the collection represents her clearest introduction yet as both a songwriter and an artist. “I’ve spent so much of my life writing to understand what I’m feeling and Learn To Live feels like a collection of those moments,” she said. “Getting to share these songs with people for the first time is really special.” The title track was written solely by Kinsley and centers on the gap between simply getting through life and fully experiencing it. Its verses follow an early-morning work routine and point to signs of exhaustion and hidden pain, while the chorus turns toward hope.

The “Learn To Live” video looks back at the people, places and experiences that surrounded Kinsley while she was making the project. It includes candid scenes with friends around Nashville and performances for friends and family. Kinsley said “Learn To Live” was the first original song she posted and that it connected with listeners online and at songwriter rounds. She called the video an “ode to the song that got me here” and said, “I wanted to raise the curtain a little on what’s been going on in my world between then and where I am now.”

On May 29, Kinsley signed with MCA and released “Pieces of Me,” written with David DeVaul and Jack Hummel, alongside a performance video for the song. She followed on July 17 with “Whiplash.” On August 10, Sony Music Publishing Nashville announced a worldwide exclusive publishing deal with Kinsley, following both tracks and her earlier “Midnight Sessions” performances on YouTube.
