Toronto rapper Casper TNG has released Draft Day, his official debut album, via Universal Music Canada. Released August 18, 2026, the 14-track set includes appearances from A Boogie wit da Hoodie, M Huncho, OzzCash, K Money and 100Bandplan. The project brings Casper’s first official album to the label after years of releasing music and building an audience in Toronto.

The title draws on Casper’s background in basketball and the draft as the moment when a player’s professional career begins. For Casper, that idea also serves as a way to account for the work that precedes public recognition. “Draft Day represents the start of my professional career, but it also represents everything it took to get here,” he said. “Everyone knows I used to play basketball, and draft day is the moment every player works toward. But you only get there because of all the work that came before it.” He called the album both “a fresh start” and a record of what he has been through to reach this point.
The album’s rollout also spans a five-location visual campaign, with material filmed in Paris, London, Thailand, the Dominican Republic and Toronto. That Toronto connection follows more than a decade in the city’s rap scene, where he built his audience independently.
Casper signed with Universal Music Canada on March 24, 2026, as “The Market” was certified Gold in Canada. On June 18, 2026, he launched PuzzL Music Collective Inc., a label distributed by Universal Music Canada. “Trap 4 A Year II,” released July 15, 2026, followed the Platinum certification of “The Market.” Rolling Stone Canada also included Casper TNG in its Future of Music 2026 class, while “The Market” spent 14 consecutive weeks as the No. 1 sound on TikTok in Canada and received an official remix with A Boogie wit da Hoodie.
