The degree of feedback and reverb is impressive and that is before you get to the percussion which could put a hole in a bank vault. So Glasgow’s Fountain Road have a bit of urgency about them but they also have a tender side, and it comes from a pair of singers who have the chemistry to break all hearts that they come into – including their own. Felt something different from this act, the genuine article but also the application that sees a sweet song emerge amid all the bluster. Epic romance. KH
