More than once I thought I had heard the Shins, more than twice the Beatles and more than all of that Presidio being their happy go-lucky selves and offering up a tune that makes it sound like summer’s end is a practical impossibility. In short in terms of jaunty ‘Shine of Love’ has all the bases covered, the instrumental break alone feels like sunshine and giddiness being produced from an endless well of the stuff. Probably guessed I like this track, well you’d be underestimating! KH
