Ayra Starr Releases ‘Heaven Baby’ Video With ZAYN

Ayra Starr has released the official music video for “Heaven Baby,” her collaboration with ZAYN from her critically acclaimed new album Starrgirl.

In the video, directed by Earthboi, the artists wander through an empty venue as their yearning for each other fills the space. The simple but emotive clip amplifies the piano-led ballad, where the pair sing about deep devotion and vulnerability.

“Heaven Baby” quickly became a standout from Starrgirl, racking up 43.2 million global streams to date. Starrgirl is Starr’s third studio album and features a wide range of collaborators, including Wizkid, Rema, Leon Thomas, Danny Ocean, kwn and Theodora. It also includes “Gimme Dat,” “Tornado,” “Hot Body,” “Who’s That Girl,” and “Where Do We Go.” The album hit No. 4 on Billboard’s World Albums chart and No. 2 in Starr’s native Nigeria.

The “Heaven Baby” video arrives just before Starr achieves a career milestone. She’s set to headline the halftime show at the NFL London Game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars, which takes place October 11 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The performance will make Starr the first African artist to headline an NFL halftime show.

“The NFL London games are the foundation of everything we have built internationally, and the halftime show has become one of the biggest moments which makes these events so special,” said Tim Tubito, senior director of global game presentation, music and entertainment at the NFL. “London is one of the most influential music cities in the world, and African music has been at the center of that conversation for years now. Ayra Starr is a generational talent with a real connection to fans in this market, and building on the halftime shows we have staged in London in recent seasons, she is the right artist to carry that momentum forward. We look forward to collaborating with her on a performance that captures the energy that matches the moment.”

ZAYN, meanwhile, has spent the year promoting his fifth solo album, KONNAKOL, which arrived in April. The project includes the singles “Die For Me” and “Sideways,” and a deluxe edition was released in May. He also announced a major 2026 tour before health issues led to the cancellation of all his U.S. dates.
