“Not Like You” explores the disorientation of a breakup and the reminders of a former relationship that persist in everyday life. DYO contributes vocals to the track, which developed through several stages. “‘Not Like You’ came together through real collaboration. After getting the initial demo from DYO, I worked on bringing that KILIMANJARO energy and bounce into the chorus and post-chorus, then got back in the room with her to tweak the verses until we were all happy,” KILIMANJARO said.

The EP examines losing and rediscovering a sense of self, alongside efforts to preserve inner peace amid upheaval. It opens with “Intro,” featuring his brother Ns anshi and sister Iñutu, before moving into “Back To Earth,” which features KILIMANJARO’s own vocals. Pianist Tony Ann appears on “The Haunting,” while Aluna sings on “Back Home.” The project draws on the producer’s Zambian heritage, Scottish upbringing, and current life in London, bringing together collaborators from across the globe.

Previously released tracks include “Moving On,” featuring Iñutu, which addresses acceptance and healing, and “Ghetto,” with Tiggs Da Author and Kojey Radical, which considers questions of belonging. RAHH joins him on “STUMBLE,” a song about resilience. “I Don’t Want To Go,” featuring Bloody Civilian and The Joy, draws inspiration from his Zambian roots. Together, those songs introduced themes developed across the EP.

The accompanying KILIMANJARO LIVE tour will see him perform on drums, an instrument he has played since he was 12, alongside a live band for the first time in his career. The run opens in Berlin on November 11, followed by shows in Brussels and Paris. UK dates include Glasgow and Manchester before the tour concludes at London’s Islington Assembly Hall on November 26.
