FILLY has released “Kate S.O.S.,” a new pop-electronic track featuring The Stylist. The Vienna-based singer, DJ, and producer frames the song around early-2000s fashion and club culture, with references to Kate Moss, Vogue, and a night out with no plans to leave.

The song began in Los Angeles, where FILLY worked with Alli Logout of DeBasement and UHD. She later continued writing with atlgrandma and Jesse St. John, then finished the track in Vienna with her friend inner tongue.
“‘Kate S.O.S’ started in LA at the American Cement Building, a brutalist concrete space that was basically the perfect setting for a slightly unhinged club song,” FILLY said. She described its subject as “2000s fashion, club chaos, and the fantasy of partying with Kate Moss for a night.” The track also features The Stylist, a project by her friends. FILLY summed up the mood as “fashion, a little french, and absolutely no plans to go home.”
“Kate S.O.S.” follows FILLY’s April EP Music So Loud I Can’t Hear A Thing. Her artist project began with the 2022 single “Motorola,” followed by the 2023 album Watching Strangers Smile and the 2024 EP Cowgirl In A Cowboy World. Before launching her own project, she spent several years toplining songs for other artists. Her releases have drawn on dance and electronic styles including trance, dubstep, and drum and bass.
