Dragon Pony returns with the single "Calling back." This release captures a new emotional spectrum for the band, summoning past moments and the feelings left behind within them into the present.

The title track, 'Calling back,' tells the story of enduring a breakup—not by clinging to a past that can no longer be revisited, but by calling back the time spent with a loved one into one’s own heart. Built upon a traditional songwriting structure with a clear narrative arc, the track weaves together fluid guitar melodies, vibrant drum beats, and compelling, soulful vocals to evoke a poignant, sorrowful sentiment. In the bridge, the band’s signature powerful rock energy erupts, adding profound emotional depth. The melody and narrative are organically intertwined, evoking a familiar, nostalgic feeling while being expressed through Dragon Pony’s unique, modern rock sound —blending classic charm with a contemporary sensibility.

The B-side track, 'Back when we were young,' draws inspiration from 90s British rock and recounts the moment of a first band rehearsal during the new school term—the very beginning of the members' musical journey together. With a delicate and sincere touch, the band revisits the past—recalling a time defined by a mix of nervous anticipation and overwhelming excitement—and summons back the feelings they held at the very beginning.

"Calling back" distills emotions drawn from two distinct points in time into a single, unifying keyword. Through this single, Dragon Pony reveals a deeper, more mature musical spectrum, building fresh anticipation for what lies ahead.
