The kind of chord bluster that will have indie rock fans cocking their ears and Stinkus keep our attention right the way through ‘Holy Virgin’ too. There is an urgency to proceedings and that combination of the noisy playing and that vulnerable and ever so romantic vocal at the center of proceedings is a winning one. Yep, I felt a bit of Weezer here but there is more besides because this is an act who can put their foot to the metal too and create a noisy stew while they are at it.
