Doesn’t reveal itself entirely easily but about 90 seconds in and suddenly my heartrate had gone up, I’d stop all forms of mind wandering and ‘Vintage Wrestling’ became our life the way those old Grandaddy songs used to do. Ontario’s Blue June carry with them a weight of emotional heft so that suddenly all those grown-up defence mechanisms come crushing down and we return to a truer form of ourselves. In short ‘Vintage Wrestling’ is beautifully disarming company. KH
