How to get an ‘Call of Duty MW4’ Beta code

Call of Duty MW4 Beta Code: a soldier can be seen vaulting over some cover.

The Call of Duty MW4 beta is coming up shortly, which will once again let players get hands-on with this year’s multiplayer experience before anyone else. Like most years, the beta will have a limited selection of maps, items, weapons, and modes to play before the full release.

The beta is likely to occur sometime in late September or early October, and we should hear more during Gamescom. But how can you get access? Here is the rundown.

Like most years, access to the Call of Duty MW4 beta requires you to pre-order any version of the game. If you pre-order a digital version, it will give you access to the beta on the storefront at launch.

If you pre-order the physical version, your code will be delivered via email from your retailer or on your physical receipt.

It is also likely that a number of codes will be given away around launch on social media and through brand partnerships and sponsored streams, so if you can’t pre-order, be sure to keep an eye out.

“War erupts on the Korean Peninsula as North Korea launches a full-scale invasion that threatens to destabilise the world in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.

A young squad of South Korean soldiers fight to survive on the collapsing front lines, while half a world away a vengeful Captain Price wages a personal war from the shadows as he stays one step ahead of those hunting him. As Price’s off-book mission collides with the forces behind the invasion, the war spreads beyond anyone’s control.”
