A glistening arpeggio traverses quickly into smooth touches of strings and lush acoustics. “He read my palms in candle light, traced the lines…” Ramos’ lead performance enters with serenely impactful qualities, escalating with multi-layered charm as strings re-enter during the magnetic bridge, where Ramos proclaims, “call it fate, call it fortune, call it my good luck,” amidst an evident sense of momentum. The title-bearing hook follows: “serendipity, written in the stars above,” as the shimmering instrumentation continues, punctuated by the spacious vocal line, “and it looked like love.”
