Haiden Henderson has released his debut album, bleach, a 13-track record produced by Benny Cassette and co-produced by Henderson. The songs combine guitar-driven pop with R&B and hip-hop influences as Henderson writes about sex, relationships, masculinity, attention and the demands of maintaining a public persona.

The album follows four advance singles: “freak for you,” “NSFW,” “i wanna be your girl” and “dumblond.” Henderson says, “bleach is the rise and fall of a performer. It’s the story of someone who never learned how to turn it off.” He connects his pursuit of approval to growing up with his mother and younger brother, and to his father’s absence. “I’ve spent every day since then feeling like I’m on the outside of everyone’s affection,” Henderson says. “Even my loved ones are audience members who need to get their money’s worth.”
The title refers both to Henderson’s bleached hair and to the changes he has made to his appearance and behavior to appeal to others. He says he became more involved in production while making the album, seeking a rawer sound after feeling bored with his earlier approach. Distorted guitars, programmed drums and his falsetto vocals shape the songs. “Even when you mute the vocals, these tracks have so much personality that elevate the songwriting,” he says.
Henderson also released a video for “domino,” a song about loving someone who feels distant even when close by. He wrote it with Zaria Simone, who stars in the video, directed by Benji Allen. Although the song sounds like a love song, Henderson wrote it about his younger brother and left its meaning open to other relationships. The video draws on Vincent Gallo’s 1998 film Buffalo ’66, whose story of two people near each other but emotionally disconnected informed the visual.
Henderson appeared at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards and recently toured arenas with 5 Seconds of Summer. He will begin his 48-date international headline tour, The ‘dumblond’ Tour, in Dublin on February 18, 2027. Its first 24 dates are in the UK and Europe, with stops including London, Amsterdam, Paris, Copenhagen, Berlin, Vienna, Milan and Madrid. The North American leg begins April 5 in Santa Ana, California, and includes Dallas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Denver, Seattle and San Francisco. The tour ends May 15 at Los Angeles’ Troubadour.
