Jordan Davis has released “Steady Flame,” bringing him back together with songwriters Jacob Davis, Josh Jenkins and Matt Jenkins. The track arrives as Davis works on his next project, which is expected in 2027.

The four writers have previously collaborated on songs including “Buy Dirt” and “Tucson Too Late,” both of which reached No. 1 on country radio. “Buy Dirt,” a 6× Platinum single, earned CMA and NSAI Song of the Year honors. Davis’ album Bluebird Days also produced “Next Thing You Know,” a 3× Platinum hit that won ACM Song of the Year. With that award, Davis became the first artist to win Song of the Year honors for two different songs from the same album.
Davis’ latest album, Learn the Hard Way, produced three consecutive No. 1 country radio singles: “I Ain’t Sayin’,” “Bar None” and “Turn This Truck Around.” Other recent releases include “Mess,” “What Do I Do If You Don’t,” “Like God Intended,” his collaboration with Thomas Rhett, “Ain’t a Bad Life,” and a cover of James Bay’s “Let It Go.”
Davis has also played sold-out shows across Australia, the United Kingdom and Europe. “I Ain’t Sayin’” spent eight weeks at the top of UK radio, and Davis was recently named a finalist for the CMA’s 2026 International Artist Achievement Award. He first broke through with “Singles You Up,” a 4× Platinum hit from his Platinum-certified debut album, Home State. His second album, Bluebird Days, followed with four consecutive No. 1 country radio singles.
